Based on presentation made by David K. Schorr. The stakes in the WTO
fishing subsidies negotiations are especially high for many African,
Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) countries. Increased attention to the
fishing subsidies issue by capital-based ACP officials is critically
needed in the coming months.
